Golden Telecom, Inc. (GTI) (Nasdaq: GLDN), a leading facilities-based provider of integrated telecommunications and Internet services throughout Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), today announced the introduction of new and enhanced Internet access services as part of its Russia-On-Line brand.

The new tariff plans provide a complete package of Internet services for the dial-up access market. Monthly pre-paid packages, including 20 or 50 hours online, are now available from Russia-On-Line at the equivalent of US$10 and US$20 at the Central Bank of Russia's exchange rate plus 3 percent. In addition, an hourly package for a charge of US$0.60 per-hour (at the same exchange rate) is available for users not expecting to use the amount of hours offered in the other packages.

"Most importantly," said Stan Abbeloos, chief operating officer of GTI, "We have added a full range of quality specifications to our 'on-net' services that will allow us to provide high-quality levels of service to our customers. This was designed into the new products as part of our commitment to bringing the Internet to Russia."

Cliff Gauntlett, director of Golden Telecom's Internet services division, said: "Our new tariff schemes will make the Internet more available than ever to the Russian consumer. We are issuing a product offering that is not only based on the high quality level of service that Russia-On-Line has come to represent, but is also very affordable."
